Time For Change

It is always up to you to take action and start making things happen for yourself and that means taking small, positive steps. This is where most of us go wrong. Not because we go about achieving our goals in the wrong way (although we often do) but because we don’t go about it at all. The big problem for many of us is that we ‘wait’ for something to happen. We’re happy to just go along as we are rather then aim for bigger and better or take an opportunity when it is presented to us. Sometimes it’s because of the fear of failure. Sometimes we think there is no other option. Sometimes it comes down to believing that waiting is the best strategy for getting what we want. Yes, it does make sense to plan and have future plans; but why not take small steps to go forward and do things now. Sometimes, getting what you want means just doing something differently. Perhaps now is the time to change how you do things.


Let’s say that you want to be a singer but you aren’t sure of your musical ability will get you there in the traditional way. What could you do instead? How about creating a website on the topic of music and song? Once you get enough people reading the site you’ll have a audience. Next start featuring your own music on the blog and there you have it – a great way to get people to listen to your music.


Again, it is all about sitting down and recognizing what your priorities are in life. You’re probably doing a whole lot right now just because you’ve always done it. It’s time to change that and to start aiming towards the goals that will actually help you get what you want and where you want to be.


Ask yourself what is the closest thing you can possibly accomplish. What’s the closest you can possibly come to being what you want to be. It is possible you can come surprisingly close if you’re willing to change your strategy and focus on what it is you really want.


This also applies to other aspects of your life such as your health. If you have a health issues, then then focus on getting into the best shape possible. Do your research and become an inspiration to others who are in the same position.


You may not always be able to become or do anything. But what you can do is to take steps forward in life. As you start taking those steps, you’ll find that this is what gives you that sense of purpose, of satisfaction and of accomplishment
